Welcome to the Mount Hope Bay Model Yacht  Club

The club was started by a small group of residents of the Village at Mount Hope Bay in 2007 to build and sail Soling 1-meter radio-controlled model sailboats. The mission was, and still is, to have some fun through friendly competition.

In 2019 we added a second class of boat: the DragonFlite 95.

The DF95s have gained in popularity around the country.  DF95s race on Tuesdays with the following Thursday as a weather day.  They race on the tidal, saltwater cove at the end of Schooner Drive in Tiverton. Emails will be sent out to the group on or before race days with specific times.

Please come and join us on the shore, try your hand and you may find that you’d like to know more.  What you will find is a fun–loving group that is friendly, helpful, and of all levels of skills.
